Manual Authentication

Authentication is using info in an HTTP request (cookies, params, body, ...) to determine what parts of your system an HTTP request will have access to.

To understand what authentication is all about we recommend trying to build a basic backend with a few routes and building a manual authentication system to provide selective access to these routes.
